Avar typing study

Help us measure how fast Avar can be typed with and without Avar IME. It takes about 45–60 minutes.

Practice first

How it works

  1. Answer three short questions about your typing.
  2. Type a short Russian text, so we know your usual typing speed.
  3. Type three Avar passages of about 100 words, each with a different input method. A short warm-up comes before each one, and a 3-minute break after it.
  4. Write freely in Avar for 5 minutes with the full Avar IME.

You need a computer with a physical keyboard and an AvarLab account.
